Is there a good hair treatment for thinning hair that really works?

Nioxin will help you keep the hair you still have, but won't regrow hair you've lost.

Minoxidil will help you regrow hair you've lost.

All the other ones are just hype. They don't work.

Good luck.Is there a good hair treatment for thinning hair that really works?
I wouldn't believe in anything that isn't prescription and even those only work well for about 30-40% of people that use them I think.

See your doctor about this. Anything you see on late night TV or in the store for thinning hair is most likely a rip-off or will have very little effect. Is there a good hair treatment for thinning hair that really works?
Go to a salon and have a stylist thin it out with a razor.
try nioxin . i just started using it so im not sure how good its gonna work but my stylist highly recommended it.
A product called Doo Gro Extra Thick thinning Lotion. Apply to hair and scalp and message it in. Use this product at least two times a week. Or Dr. Miracles Thinning Lotion works well also.
When I was about 6 years old, my hair kept falling out in my sleep, so my mother grated ginger root and rubbed it into my scalp about once every week, based on self-prescription. It burned a little, so if you try it don't knead it too much into your scalp, but soon after that my hair became this big, volumnous thing. [Then I shaved it ;) Still volumnous and healthy though.]
Get some more sleep and find ways to cope with stress. Stress can affect hair fallout. Also, make sure you're getting the nutrients you need in your diet. Hair is protein, and if you don't get enough vitamins, not only does it affect how you feel but it shows in your hair and skin. Most hairloss is genetic, and I'm pretty sure its carried on the X chromosome. Don't part your hair in the same place everyday, that causes breakage and exposure at the roots to the same hairs repeatedly. Also, don't give up and just pull it into a ponytail everyday. That will stretch your hair. You don't necessarily have to chop all your hair off into a short cut just because its thinning, but find something that's going to flatter.
